Pen Tool Beginner's Guide

I think the pen tool will be useful when creating large shapes and characters that require even straight lines. The pen tool also allows making not only straight lines but allows you to make other things such as Bezier curves. The ability to manipulate these things it will allow me to experiment with maybe even different perspectives as things can be changed and warped easily with this tool. I found the way in which the video creator found a way to thoroughly show and explain what he is doing ns the steps on how to use the pen tool in many different ways, but understandably and clearly.

Type Tool Tutorial

I believe the type tool will be useful when making specific and clear text designs, as it would allow me to move and play with the way the letters look. Not only will this help with text designs but also with straight lines for consistency in shapes or corners, that allow the words to fit more smoothly and evenly to whatever it is around. I like how the video shows a thorough explanation as to how the tool works and the different ways it can actually be used, by demonstrating examples, that show all these different tools presets and tools within the tool.

In this video, it is shown how to use the gradient mesh tool and a shortcut to re-create something that may have different shades, and shapes. This tool will allow you to trace a reference shape that you are interested in using for a project. I believe that this tool would let a creator reduce the time as to which they have to work on something by kind of separating the different spaces that are in a subject. However, I do think that depending on what you are trying to do this tool might either be very useful or an unnecessary step to those simpler objects. One thing that I like about this video is that she went through a single process step by step not skipping everything, allowing those who are brand new to using this tool a very easy way to follow along.
